We had our first automotive difficulty while in Georgia and that threw us off schedule a bit. There was a big gouge in our front tire, and it was down to the cords so it needed replaced. It’s not easy to find tires to fit Dolly, but we finally found a place outside of Atlanta that got us right in.
The gentlemen who helped us were some good ‘ole Georgia boys. They recommended we didn’t go into Atlanta without packing a weapon (even without a permit as they prefer to do). We decided to brave it and went to Atlanta unarmed and had a nice and very safe time down town at Olympic Centennial Park and doing a CNN Studio Tour which was really cool.
Luke was chosen to demonstrate the green screen at CNN, if you zoom in, he looks like a floating head when they wrapped a green blanket around him.
Before we headed out, we let the girls run through the Olympic Ring fountains and the boys decided to join in too.
The CNN building is amazing! I love the picture of Lilly and Katie on the escalator. Lilly’s expression is priceless! The boys have a lot of little kid in them. Especially the 42 year old!
This just gets me super jealous. How completely awesome. I used to fantasize that you Des was a reporter 💕
