This is the great story of the journey of the Stone Mountain. The journey that only the boldest, the strongest, and the Heaths can accomplish. And it all started with one little hike. As the hike progressed, however, they would make a very powerful enemy.

The Heaths arrived at the Stone Mountain in Dolly. The children expected it to be boring. Luke was going the distance and was eventually out of sight. The hike went well, or at least the most of it.

The family was 2/3 of the way there and Justin had went the distance too. Father checked his electronic device and it read exactly as follows: “Severe Thunderstorm warning. The Great Thunderking Approaches.” Father then warned the fair maidens of his party to turn back for their own safety. Then he proceeded with Benjamin to find Luke and Justin.

They were worried that Luke and Justin had already arrived at the top peak of the mountain. They would probably have to run up and find them. But after walking up a little more, they found Luke and Justin sitting atop a rock, exhausted. After Father relayed the ominous message, they were faced with a decision: abandon the journey, or face the wrath of the Thunderking. Father decided that the men will proceed towards the top peak of Stone Mountain.

As they walked the winds got heavier and rain started to fall. After minutes of hiking, they reached an iron rail to help them up the steep mountain. Though the walk was still very difficult, they held to the rod.

After they passed the iron rail, the peak was in sight, glory almost within their grasp. But the winds were so heavy that they could barely open their eyes, and every raindrop was like a pebble, being slingshotted into their face. Everyone was exhausted, and Luke felt like he was going to pass out, but they were past the point of no return. So Luke chugged a bottle of water and proceeded towards the peak.

Once they reached the bottom of the peak, the rain was nearly impaling their skin, and they were leaning against the wind to keep their balance. Luke, after much pain, reluctantly decided to rest at the base of the peak. So the others continued without him.

Being on the top peak felt like an onslaught of flaming arrows, traveling at the speed of sound, being shot at you from all directions. The three were literally screaming while on the peak.

After they had their fill, they made a unanimous agreement, and sprinted back down the mountain. Benjamin’s electronic device was about to fly out of his pocket. They met up with Luke and realized, they had done it. They reached the top peak of Stone Mountain.

However, the dreadful roars of the Thunderking were coming ever closer, so they continued their descent. They reached the iron rail, and held on for dear life. They thought this was the end. But it wasn’t.

When they finished the rail, Justin ran out of energy and fainted. The only thing they could do was pour water on his head. So Luke did and Justin quickly woke up.

They entered the forest part of the journey and realized it had been drenched.

They had to tread very lightly and avoid slipping. Luke slipped once but was completely healed with the help of his brothers. After about 15 minutes, they knew the end was nigh. They managed to not slip for the rest of the journey and saw the end.

Once they returned into civilization, they saw everybody under the shelter, staring at their soaked clothes and muddy shoes. On the outside, the travelers looked like complete idiots. But on the inside, they knew they were heroes.
